SUCCESSFUL MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOUs) BETWEEN BINGHAM UNIVERSITY AND ORGANIZATIONS/UNIVERSITIES

Bingham University has successfully reached a Memorandum of Understanding for grants and cooperation with the following Institutions/Organizations;

  1. GLOBAL FUND; NEW FUNDING MODEL PROJECT: EXTENSION PERIOD SCALING UP SERVICES FOR DR-TB PREVENTION AND CONTROL BETWEEN INSTITUTE OF HUMAN VIROLOGY NIGERIA AND ZANKLI LABORATORY BINGHAM UNIVERSITY KARU NASARAWA STATE

    An agreement is made to subsist from the period of 1ST JULY, 2018 to 30TH JUNE, 2019. The programme aims to reduce the DR TB burden by complementing and accelerating the ongoing activities implemented by the Nigerian Government and partners, and through the Global Fund New Funding Model grant. The programme also aims to ensure prompt access to high quality, patient-centered DR-TB diagnosis, treatment and follow-up services thus contributing to improved treatment outcomes and reductions in DR-TB transmission in Nigeria.

  2. COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN SUMY STATE UNIVERSITY UKRAINE (SSU)

    Coperation agreement between SUMY STATE UNIVERSITY UKRAINE (SSU) represented by the Rector Professor Anatoliy V. Vasylyev and BINGHAM UNIVERSITY KARU represented by the Vice Chancellor Professor William Barnabas Qurix conclude the present Cooperation Agreement with the purpose of cooperation establishment in the field of education and science, regulation of academic collaboration, joint research and exchange programmes. The Scope of Agreement is focused toward;

    • Academic exchange of research and teaching staff with the aim of training, conducting lectures, fulfillment of joint academic activities.
    • Organization of joint conferences and seminars on agreed subjects, exchange of scientific information, providing opportunity for University Staff to publish scientific articles as well as the results of joint scientific and research activities in specialized editions and scientific publications of Universities.
    • Joint participation in international academic programs, fulfillment of joint research projects in frames of international grants.
    • Development of exchange programmes for students and post-graduates with the purpose of training, research, language and industrial practice.
