Nigerian Journal of Physiological Sciences (Niger. J. Physiol. Sci.) is a biannual publication of the Physiological Society of Nigeria. It covers diverse areas of research in physiological sciences, publishing reviews in current research areas and original laboratory and clinical research in physiological sciences.
The American Journal of Physiology-Gastrointestinal and Liver Physiology publishes papers on digestion, secretion, absorption, metabolism, motility, microbiology and colonization, growth and development, and neurobiology relevant to these organs as well as those dealing with neural, endocrine, and circulatory control mechanisms.
The American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology publishes original investigations, reviews and perspectives on the physiology of the heart, vasculature, and lymphatics. These articles include experimental and theoretical studies of cardiovascular function at all levels of organization ranging from the intact and integrative animal and organ function to the cellular, subcellular, and molecular levels.
Physiological Reports is an online, open access monthly journal that publishes peer-reviewed research across all areas of basic and translational physiology and allied disciplines.

The Journal of Applied Physiology publishes the highest quality original research and reviews that examine novel adaptive and integrative physiological mechanisms in humans and animals that advance the field. The journal encourages the submission of manuscripts that examine the acute and adaptive responses of various organs, tissues, cells and/or molecular pathways to environmental, physiological and/or pathophysiological stressors.
