Computers
Library-Managed Computers
The Library provides more than 200 networked computers for access to Library services, discovery tools, research databases, and collections, along with the Microsoft Office suite. Each individual library also offers specific workstations that require netID authentication for access to specialized research databases and productivity software. Most workstations are connected to managed printers, which require a netID to print. For more information, see Printing in the Library: Basic Instructions.
OIT Computing Clusters
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides groups of computers for student use within several library locations. These workstations offer the Microsoft Office suite of software, as well as access to e-mail, the Internet, and other software. OIT computing clusters are located in the Brush Gallery outside the Fine Hall Wing of the Lewis Library. Another cluster is adjacent to the Library Reading Room on the third floor of the Frist Center. Consult OIT's page on clusters information at http://www.princeton.edu/clusters/ for complete information.
