About
The Faculty of Education in Bingham University Karu, was established in 2018. The faculty has two departments; the department of Guidance and Counseling and department of Educational Psychology.
The department of Guidance and Counseling was established in 2018 and commenced in the 2019/2020 Academic session in September 2019. While the department of Educational Psychology was established in 2020.
The primary aim of our Programmes is to prepare future leaders for successful professional career in Education that will become successful products capable of adding value to the society and expand the frontiers of knowledge.
Mandate
Produce teachers and with well- grounded knowledge, skills in counseling and Psychology.
Vision
To be a center of excellence in training of teachers and school counselors, Educational Psychologists and researchers in Education. And also provide functional counseling and Psychology laboratory services to Bingham University and the community at large.
Mission
To provide teachers, counselors and school Psychologists who are equipped with knowledge and skills for self-reliance.
