
Bingham University And Nigerian Press Council Sign Mou

Bingham University Karu and the Nigerian Press Council (NPC) Abuja have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster mutual growth and visibility of the two institutions. The signing ceremony took place at the University's Council Chamber.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba highlighted the university's progress over the past 20 years, noting its 20th anniversary celebration in November. He expressed willingness to partner with stakeholders like NPC to enhance research, training, and visibility.
Prof. Ayuba attributed the university's growth to expansion of academic programs, infrastructural development, quality manpower development, research, innovation, community participation, and partnerships.
The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Press Council Dr. Dili Ezeghah welcomed the partnership, citing opportunities for journalist training and synergy between the institutions. He noted that the collaboration would foster knowledge sharing for national development.
Registrar Mr. Daburi Bello Misal emphasized the university's commitment to positively impacting communities and expressed optimism about the partnership's potential.
The MoU signing ceremony marked a significant step in the partnership between Bingham University Karu and Nigerian Press Council (NPC) Abuja.
Present at the event were the Registrar Mr. Daburi Bello Misal, University Librarian Assoc Prof Joshua Magoi, Dean Faculty of Communication and Media Studies Assoc Prof Desmond Okocha, Dr Mercy Tartsea-Anshase of the Department of Film and Multimedia studies and the Director Linkages Ms. Monica Ankeli.
