Bingham University's Student, Oluwatayo Esther, Emerges Winner Of The National Capital Market Quiz Competition Held In Abuja, Nigeria.

A student of the Department of accounting, Miss Oluwatayo Esther has emerged winner of the National Capital Market Quiz Competition held during the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) and the Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (AACFB) 2025 Career Fair in Abuja, Nigeria. 

 

The competition, themed "Capital Markets in a Digital, Ethical, and Sustainable Era: Charting Pathways for Economic Transformation," brought together students from various universities, including University of Abuja, Kaduna State University, Miva University, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Bingham University Karu.

 

Oluwatayo Esther,  a member of the team led by President Michael Marvellous Mivanyi, credited her victory to the solid foundation and depth of understanding she gained from her lecturers in the Department of Accounting. Her team members included Odeh Daniel, Samson Edward, Mobolaji Favour Olusanya, Folakemi Akindele, Amos Abiola Ibiloye, and Mofiyinfoluwa.

 

The  Vice Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba congratulated Oluwatayo Esther and her team from the Department of Accounting on their victory at the National Capital Market Quiz Competition. 

 

The trophy was received by the Dean of Administration, Prof. Orbunde B. Bemshima and presented to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba in his office.

 

Prof. Ayuba commended the team, the Accounting department, and the Faculty of Administration for their dedication and commitment to academic excellence. He expressed pride in the team's achievement, stating that the university was honored by their national-level win.

 

The Vice Chancellor encouraged the team to continue pursuing excellence, setting their sights on international achievements. He celebrated their success, recognizing the hard work and efforts that led to this notable accomplishment.

 

The achievement is a testament to the department's academic excellence and the impact of its lecturers' guidance and mentorship. This further reflects Bingham University's commitment to nurturing critical thinking and confidence in its students.
