About
Akadi Joan is an Assistant Lecturer in Accounting with a strong commitment to teaching, research, and academic excellence. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Accounting, with research interests in sustainability accounting, ESG reporting, corporate governance, financial reporting, and the application of data analytics and AI in accounting.
She is passionate about equipping students with analytical and practical accounting skills while producing research that informs policy, promotes corporate accountability, and supports sustainable development. Her long-term goal is to bridge academia and industry through impactful research, innovation, and professional engagement.
