Biography

Lambe Isaac is a multi-disciplinary Scholar and a thorough-bred Professional, who is a fomer Head, Department of Accounting, Bingham University, Karu, Nasarawa State. Prior to joining Bingham University, he had worked as an auditor at KPMG (Chartered Accountants), Midsnel Group International (Chartered Accountants) and also served as the Chief Accountant at the Abuja Corporate Head office of ASCA Bitumen, where he was responsible for overseeing the Accounts Department of five other subsidiaries.

He holds a BSc degree in Accounting, an MBA in Finance, an MSc in Accounting and Finance and a PhD in Accounting and Finance. As a Chartered and Certified Accounting Professional, he is a member of some foremost National and International Professional bodies including; The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) and The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified System Accountants (ACCSA Global), USA, the Certified Institute of Business Entrepreneurs (CIBE), USA and Capital Market Academics of Nigeria (CMAN). He is equally a Chartered Procurement & Supply Chain Professional, with his membership of the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management (CISCM), a Chartered Portfolio Manager (APMI), and a member of the Capital Market Academics of Nigeria (CMAN).

Dr Lambe sits on the Editorial Boards of several Journal outfits, including the International Journal of Accounting, Finance and Information System (IJAFIS), where he serves as the Managing Editor and he is also a serving member of three different committees of ANAN, ICAN and CITN. He serves in the Education, Training & ICT Skills Committee of ANAN, the Membership and Professional Conduct Committee of CITN, as well as the University Implementation Committee of ICAN. He is currently the Programme Coordinator of the Association of Chartered Certified System Accountants, USA (ACCSA Global) as well as the Regional Representative of the Certified Institute of Business Entrepreneurs, USA (CIBE).

Dr Lambe is a resource person to several National and International bodies, which has seen him facilitate and deliver lectures and hands-on practical tannings across Africa and in Europe. He is currently on the team of the International Financial Reporting (UK) Country Working Group for Non-Profit Organizations (IFR4NPO Project). The IFR4NPO Country Working Group is a group of high-level professionals representing key stakeholders across the globe, focused on projects that serve as an initiative to develop International Financial Reporting guidance for non-profit organizations.

Aside sufficient industry exposure, Dr Lambe is distinguished in the field of academics and research. He has authored/co-authored over 65 articles in referred local and International Journals and has published 10 books covering his area of interest among which are Corporate Reporting, Strategic Financial Management, Accounting and Management information system, Entrepreneurial Development as well as Procurement and Supply Chain Management. He is endowed with ability to successfully formulate and implement strategic initiatives, strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills. Result-oriented; with a proven ability to stimulate others, high energy, and hand-on professional with strong organizational and planning skills, and a competent team player.

Dr Lambe is happily married and blessed with Children.
