Biography

 

Dr. Hope Imuetinyan, Iguodala-Cole, holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Sociology from Nasarawa State University, Keffi. She also earned a master’s degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, and a B.Sc. in Sociology from Edo State University (Ekpoma), along with a National diploma in Social Work from the University of Benin, Edo State.

Additionally, she holds a Professional Diploma Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Nigeria, and the Nigerian Institute of Training & Development. Currently serving as a Lecturer in the Sociology department, Dr. Cole is the Director of the Gender Studies Unit and Chairman of the Positive Behavior Committee at Bingham University, Karu, Nigeria. She is also involved in numerous grants’ committees and holds memberships in professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Association (NASA), Institute for Leadership and Development Communication (ILDC), Abuja Graduate School Advisory Council, Nigerian Institute of Training & Development (NITAD), and the Association of Business Development Professionals in Nigeria (ABDPIN).

Also, she is a fellow of the Institute for Leadership and Communication Development. With extensive prior experience in various organizations including Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG), and University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria.

Dr. Cole has presented at over 50 conferences globally and has authored over 30 publications covering topics such as “workplace gender equality, substance abuse among students, and gender dynamics in Nigeria’s workplace.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading and dancing, and she is happily married with four children.
