I am a Consultant Paediatrician and Neonatologist and Senior Lecturer at Bingham University, where I combine clinical practice, teaching, and research to advance the health and wellbeing of newborns and children.
My clinical and academic interests centre on neonatology and child health in low- and middle-income country (LMIC) settings, with a particular focus on improving early diagnosis and care for conditions affecting newborns.
As an educator, I am committed to nurturing the next generation of clinicians, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students in paediatrics and neonatology. I believe strongly that quality healthcare extends beyond the hospital walls, and I am equally passionate about translating clinical knowledge into accessible, practical guidance for parents and caregivers — empowering families to make informed decisions about their children's health.
Through this dual commitment to training healthcare professionals and educating the public, I work to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and everyday family life, ensuring that sound child health knowledge reaches those who need it most.
