A Delegation From Spain Pays Courtesy Visit To Vice-Chancellor Prof Haruna Kuje Ayuba.

A delegation from Fundació Autònoma Solidària (UAB), Spain, recently visited the Vice-Chancellor of Bingham University during their trip to Nigeria for a workshop on microbiology and public health. The workshop aims to enhance the diagnosis of latent tuberculosis infection in children.
Leading the delegation, the Director of the Zankli Research Centre, Bingham University, Dr. John Bimba highlighted the purpose of their visit, emphasizing the longstanding partnership between the Centre and the UAB team. He noted that the collaboration had yielded several impactful projects and grants from the time of Prof. Loveth Lawson's tenure. The delegation was in the University to organize a three-day capacity-building workshop as part of their ongoing collaboration.
Prof. José Domínguez, the team leader, expressed his delight at being in Nigeria and reaffirmed his enthusiasm for the enduring partnership with the Zankli Research Centre. He underscored the workshop's significance in strengthening diagnostic capacities and fostering international collaboration.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Haruna Kuje Ayuba in his remarks, warmly welcomed the delegation and commended the valuable partnership between Bingham University and Fundació Autònoma Solidària. He expressed his appreciation for their commitment to advancing research and public health initiatives.
