The Advertising Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) recently visited Bingham University on an accreditation visit. The Vice-Chancellor Prof Haruna Kuje Ayuba who recieved the team in his office, expressed delight at their visit and assured them of the university’s cooperation to enable them carry out the assignment. Prof. Samila Mande who led the panel gave a brief on the outcome of the accreditation exercise. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to visit Bingham University, the warm reception they received, and the successful completion of the exercise . Prof. Mande commended the university's commitment to academic excellence, highlighting the commendable operation of a functional advertising studio where students gain practical experience, as well as a licensed radio station . He noted that Bingham University is among the few universities in northern Nigeria that recognizes ARCON and actively participates in its conferences. He commended the teamwork and collaborative spirit within the department, which he observed has led to meticulous and efficient work processes. Prof. Mande also provided several recommendations to further enhance the students exposure to advertising . In his remarks, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ayube reiterated his appreciation for the thorough accreditation exercise conducted by the ARCON team. He emphasized that Bingham University holds regulatory bodies in high regard and is committed to meeting all necessary standards and requirements. The Registrar, Dr. Mrs. Esther Joy Dyaji, concluded the visit with words of gratitude, appreciating the ARCON team for their visit and expressing hope for a strong and fruitful partnership that will contribute to the university's growth.
