The 6th Governing Council of Bingham University has paid a condolence visit to Chancellor and Esu Karu, His Royal Highness, Parm. (Dr.) Luka Panya Baba in his palace over the demise of his Father In-Law and a cabinet member of his palace, Chief of Guards (Sarkin Dogarai).

The Chairman of Council, Prof. Andrew Haruna on behalf of Council, expressed his deepest sympathies  to the  Esu Karu and said the Council was at the palace to deliver their condolences to His Royal Highness and indeed the family for the losses. He prayed that the loving memories of the departed bring comfort and strength to the royal family and that God Almighty grants them the fortitude to bear the irreparable losses. 

The Chancellor and Esu Karu, Pharm. (Dr.) Luka Panya Baba expressed delight and appreciated the Council of the University for the visit.  He was full of thanks and commended the Governing Council of the University for identifying with the palace and the family at this trial period. He pointed out that he was proud to be identified with the University and for the great work the University was doing.

The Chancellor also took the opportunity to commend the University Management for setting up the Town and Gown Committee to provide a platform for interfacing with the community. He added that this will go a long way in promoting mutual understanding. 

The delegation comprised members of the Governing Council, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba and  Principal Officers of the University.
