Bingham University Receives Vehicle Donation From Konrad Adenauer Stiftung To Support Ambassador Lolo Centre For Diplomacy, Conflict, Peace And Plural Studies.

Bingham University has received a vehicle donation from the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) in support of the Ambassador Bulu Lolo Centre for Diplomacy, Conflict, Peace and Plural Studies (ABLC).

The car donation (Land Rover Discovery) was received by Dr. Olushola Magbadelo on the 23rd of Tuesday June, 2026 at the KAS Office in Abuja.

 

He added that, he was informed that, they had been monitoring the Center’s reports on activities and expressed satisfaction that a newly established Center could show such promise. As such the country Rep thought it was wise to support the ABLC with a car. Dr Magbadelo made the symbolic presentation to the Vice-Chancellor on Monday 29 June, 2026, at the University Campus adding that it is aimed at enhancing its operational capacity and outreach activities.

 

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuja Ayuba, expressed deep appreciation to the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung for its consistent support and commitment to the growth of both the University and the Centre.

 

Prof. Ayuba highlighted the impact of the partnership between the University and KAS, noting that it has yielded significant outcomes, including fully funded training opportunities for members of staff.

He described the vehicle donation as another important milestone in the collaboration between the two institutions and a clear demonstration of KAS’s commitment to strengthening diplomacy, conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and pluralism studies within the University.

Reflecting on the Centre’s development, the Vice-Chancellor stated that what began as an idea has, through sustained collaboration and support, evolved into a thriving initiative making meaningful contributions in its field.

He commended the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung for its belief in the vision of the Centre and its continued investment in its growth, expressing optimism that the partnership will yield even greater achievements in the future.

 

Those present at the presentation included the Registrar, Mr. Daburi Bello Misal; Ambassador Bulus Lolo; the Director of Public Affairs, Ms Monica Ankeli; and the Director of Research and Innovation, Prof. Istifanus Zabadi.
