Bingham University Strengthens Global Engagement Through Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme In Romania

Bingham University continues to advance its internationalization agenda through strategic global partnerships. As part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme, Dr. Gabriel O. Anyanwu, Director of the Advancement Office, recently participated in a staff training visit to Danubius International University (DIU), Galați, Romania.
Nominated by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba, Dr. Anyanwu engaged in job-shadowing and training activities focused on higher education internationalization, institutional advancement, global visibility, and research collaboration. During his visit, he met with the Rector of DIU, Prof. Steve Michael, who reaffirmed the University's commitment to strengthening its partnership with Bingham University through annual staff mobility opportunities under the Erasmus+ programme.
The visit provided valuable insights into international advancement strategies, staff and student exchange programmes, and approaches to enhancing institutional reputation and global engagement. It also created opportunities for future research collaboration through engagements with academics at Dunărea de Jos University of Galați, particularly in nutrition, food science, and related fields.
The successful participation in the Erasmus+ programme highlights Bingham University's growing presence on the international stage and its dedication to fostering global collaboration, innovation, and academic excellence.
