Binhgham University's Post Graduate School Churns Out More P.hd's

The School of Post Graduate Studies recently produced two more Doctorate of Philosophy degrees in Accounting. The external defense was attended by the External Examiner, Prof. Daniel Gbegi from the Federal University Gashua.

 

The Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Okoli Bamidele, in his remarks, welcomed the External Examiner, Prof. Daniel Gbegi, expressing his  gratitude for accepting the role of moderating the candidates. 

He advised the candidates to demonstrate ownership of their Ph.D. theses, emphasizing the importance of a strong connection to their research. The candidates were encouraged to remain calm and focused as they embark on this crucial phase of their academic journey. The Dean concluded his opening remarks by extending best wishes to the candidates.

 

The first presenter, Mr. Enomate Blessing, took the stage to defend his thesis titled "Effect of Intellectual Capital on Financial Performance of Listed Non-Financial Companies in Nigeria." 

 

Mr. Haruna Dzugwahi,the second candidate presented his thesis on "Integrating Reporting and Financial Performance of Listed International Companies in Nigeria."

 

Following a meticulous evaluation of the theses, the External Examiner, Prof. Daniel Gbegi, on behalf of the Board, officially declared the candidates deserving of the Ph.D. degrees. The recognition was granted in acknowledgment of their outstanding work and significant contributions to knowledge in their respective fields.

 

 The occasion is  a testament to Bingham University's commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering excellence in research.
