Department of Political Science  has organized  a one-day academic research workshop on project writing  as part of its capacity building drive to strengthen research among students and academics in the department.

In his presentation, Associate Prof. Bello Baban’Umma of Nasarawa State University, Keffi stated that project and research were parts of academic exercise that enables students and researchers discover and create new knowledge and ideas that provides evidences and understanding of complex subject that leads to solving societal problems.

Associate Prof. Baban’Ummah stated that project writing cannot be undermined as it requires understanding of rudiments by students and researchers in order to have a successful project. He led the participants through project writing from conception of project topics to the last chapter of project work.
In his remarks at the workshop, Prof. Istifanus Zabadi speaking on behalf of the department shared his own experiences and appreciated the resource person for excellent delivery of his paper on project writing.  He stated that it was an added knowledge to students of the department and researchers as well.

Certificates were presented to participating students at the end of the workshop.
Students who participated commended the department for organizing the workshop on  and stated that the workshop was worth attending as it has equipped them with knowledge and skills for project writing.

Present at the workshop were Head of department, Dr. Sabo Robert, lecturers from Political Science department and students.
