The Governing Council has appointed Arch. Dogara Olusola Ayenajeh as the substantive Director of Works and Physical Planning for a five-year term. This decision was made at the Council's 68th regular meeting held in Karu following the Selection process and the presentation of the reportof the Selection Board. . 

Prior to his appointment, Ayenajeh served as the Acting Director of Works and Physical Planning. His promotion follows a successful interview and a track record of dedication to duty.

As the Director of Works and Physical Planning, Ayenajeh will oversee various responsibilities, such as, providing leadership and guidance to the Works and Physical Planning Directorate, Ensuring the maintenance and care of existing facilities amongst other duties.

The university community has congratulated Ayenajeh on his new role, which took effect from March 20, 2025, and will run until March 20, 2030.
