Governing Council Of Bingham University Pay Congratulatory Visit To Chancellor And Esu Karu On 20Th Anniversary Of Reign

The Chairman and other members of the Governing Council of Bingham University recently paid a congratulatory visit to the Chancellor and Esu Karu, His Royal Highness, Pharmacist (Dr) Luka Panya Baba, celebrating his 20-year reign as Esu of Karu.

 

During the visit, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba congratulated His Royal Highness on his remarkable achievements over the past two decades. Prof. Ayuba highlighted the numerous testimonies shared during the ceremony, which underscored the Chancellor's dedication to fostering peace in his domain. He noted that the Council members who were  already gathered for a meeting, took the opportunity to personally congratulate the Chancellor on his milestone.

 

Council Chairman Prof. Andrew Haruna expressed deep appreciation for the Chancellor's warm and fatherly reception, noting that all palace protocols were graciously set aside to make the Council members feel welcome. Prof. Haruna emphasized the importance of paying respects and celebrating the Chancellor's legacy of peace, which has greatly benefited the community. He encouraged students to study the harmonious coexistence among the diverse ethnic groups in the Karu Kingdom, attributing this peace to the Chancellor's leadership.

 

In response, His Royal Highness, the Esu Karu, Pharmacist Luka Panya Baba, expressed his gratitude to God for the privilege of celebrating this milestone and for the safe arrival of the Council members from their various destinations. He thanked the Council for their visit and kind wishes, acknowledging the challenges faced over the 20-year journey and expressing his reliance on divine support.

 

The Esu Karu encouraged patience and support for the university, emphasizing that its growth will ultimately benefit everyone. He assured Bingham University of his continued support and prayed for God's guidance over the Council, wishing for the university's continued prominence among academic institutions.

 

The visit was a testament to the strong relationship between Bingham University and its Chancellor, reflecting mutual respect and a shared commitment to peace and development.
