Joint Security Agencies Pays Courtesy Visit To Vice-Chancellor, Prof Haruna Kuje Ayuba, Assures Maximum Support To The University Community

The Joint Security Agencies in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State has paid thebVice-Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba a courtesy visit upon his assumption of duty as Vice-Chancellor .
Speaking on behalf of other security agencies, Head of DSS, Prince Vidi Jothan stated that they were in the university to congratulate Prof. Ayuba as the new Vice-Chancellor and to appreciate the effort and role the university management was playing in their collaborative effort with security agencies in the state. He further assured the management of the University of their continuous cooperation to ensure safety of lives and property in the university and neighbouring communities.
Prince Jothan pointed out that security situation in the country has become worrisome and requires joint efforts to combat insecurity in the area.
Also speaking during the visit, the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, CSP Eunice Ojbondo stated that the success recorded in the area by the Joint Security Agencies wouldn’t have been possible without collaboration. She called on the management of the university not to relent in its collaboration efforts with the agencies in protecting lives and property.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. H. K. Ayuba stated that he was delighted with the visit and appreciative of the work the Joint Security Agencies were doing particularly in the university community. He assured the Joint Security operatives of his management's willingness to continue the collaborative effort for the safety of the university community.
In her remarks, the Registrar, Dr. (Mrs) Esther J. Dyaji thanked the security agencies and stated that the university has enjoyed peace and requested the Joint Security Agencies not to relent in their effort of fighting crime and insecurity in the area.
Also in attendance during the visit were the University Librarian, Assoc.Prof Dan Ajibili and the Director of Public Affairs, Mr.Daburi Misal.
