The Alumni Association Of Bingham University Extends A Warm Welcome To Vice-Chancellor, Prof Haruna Kuje Ayuba, Pledges Collaboration Towards The University's Progress.

The Alumni Association of Bingham University (AABHU) recently paid the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba a courtesy visit to extend a warm welcome of the entire association and congratulate him on his appointment as Vice-Chancellor.

 

Leading the delegation, the President of the Association, Mr. Kingsley Artimas congratulated the Vice-Chancellor on his assumption of duty and pledged the association’s commitment towards the progress and development of the university. He assured the Vice-Chancellor the association’s readiness to collaborate with the university and also bring in expertise and professionals among them in various fields to mentor students in areas of entrepreneurship amongst others.

 

   The Vice-Chancellor Prof Haruna Kuje Ayuba expressed his delight to meet with them and appreciated them for the visit. He further congratulated the new excos of the Alumni Association and urged them to work assiduously towards the university’s progress. He stated that they may not be able to pay back the impact the university has had on them, but they can give back in terms of infrastructure and networking; and have their names written in gold as the Association is a livewire of the university.

Prof Ayuba commended an Alumni member who provided a borehole in Jos Campus with the intention to do more in the Karu campus. He added that the university is open to discussion on ways they can partner with the university in areas like road networks, Hostels and solarization of boreholes, amongst others in order of priority where the association can come in.

 

The Registrar Dr. Esther Dyaji also expressed gratitude for the visit and appreciated their effort for the work they have been putting in place and call for reconciling factions within the Association so that they can collectively work towards the growth of the Association.
