The Nigerian Environmental Society Fct Chapter Visits Bingham University, Seeks Collaborations.

The Nigerian Environmental Society, FCT Chapter has visited Bingham University recently to seek for ways to partner with the University in the area of environmental management.  The Chairman of the Society, Arch. Akin Aribisala, NES stated this at the office of the Vice-Chancellor.  

 

In his remarks, Arch. Akin Aribisala congratulated the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba on his appointment as the 5th  Vice Chancellor of Bingham University and wished him a successful tenure.

Also in the delegation, Dr. Akinrele Olusegun O. who was enthusiastic with the appointment of Prof. Ayuba as Vice-Chancellor of Bingham University highlighted some possible areas the society can partner with the university. 

Responding to the comments from the Chairman of Nigerian Environmental Society FCT Chapter ,the Vice-Chancellor , Prof. Ayuba stated that he was delighted to receive the team of delegation .  He stated that Bingham University is open to partnerships and collaborations in areas that would add value .

He stated that environmental management was one of the viable areas to partner with the society in order to improve the beautification of the university campus especially in the area of maintaining a clean and green campus. The Vice-Chancellor added that Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) was one of the areas his administration was exploring in order to improve infrastructural needs.

Also in  the team of delegation were Mr Adeleke Olushola, and Abiodum Adenuga amongst others.  The highlight of the visit was the presentation of a card to the Vice-Chancellor .
