The Vice–Chancellor of Bingham University, Professor William Barnabas Qurix OFR, has enjoined Academic Staff of the University to take advantage of the existing partnerships and collaborations between the University and foreign Universities to improve their research output.

The Vice – Chancellor who was visibly elated at the modest achievement of the University in the recently released ranking of universities by NUC advised the staff to see this as a point of departure instead of a momentary gain.

The University was ranked overall 47th in the Nigerian University System and 8th in terms of efficiency. Similarly, it was rated 24 in terms of visibility.

Responding, the staff appreciated the Vice – Chancellor for turning around the fortunes of the University and promised to do their best to project the University through their research and Academic activities.
