As part of its drive to ensure quality learning and academic excellence in Bingham University ,

the  Vice-chancellor commissioned the E-learning Center at the  T Y Danjuma Hall in the Karu Campus of the University. 

 The Vice-Chancellor Prof. W.B Qurix,in his opening remarks, emphasized the importance of ICT in our educational system and its impact globally. He went further to state some attributes of the system being commissioned to include; Online Teaching, Zoom Meetings/ Video Conferencing, Explicit 3D Videos and tutorials in key courses, Powerpoint presentations, Magic pen and Wand, Lecture recording, and Screen Casting amongst numerous other functions. 

 The Vice-chancellor  equally encouraged staff to embrace  ICT to achieve academic excellence.He  assured the gathering that  more of such facilities would be installed in other faculties and departments of the University.

The Director of ICT, Mr Kunle Ifawoye, was on hand to demonstrate the usage of the equipment and take questions from members of staff.

 The event was graced by members of Management and other staff of the University.
