Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba And Team Pay Congratulatory Visit To Prof. Andrew Haruna On His Appointment As The Secretary-General Of The Committee Of Vice-Chancellors Of Nigerian Universities (Cvcnu)

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba, recently paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Andrew Haruna FNAL, FLAN to congratulate him on his appointment as Secretary-General of the Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU). Speaking during the visit, Prof. Ayuba stated that he and his team of principal officers were in his office on behalf of Bingham University Community to extend the institution’s goodwill and to congratulate Prof. Andrew for achieving a significant milestone. He described the appointment as a remarkable honour, symbolizing trust in Prof. Andrew’s capacity to excel in a higher responsibility. He also highlighted that the role adds to Prof Andrew’s existing position as Pro-Chancellor, effectively marking him out as a distinguished personality within the academic community. Prof. Ayuba prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom for Prof. Andrew . In his response, Prof. Andrew Haruna FNAL, FLAN expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor and his delegation for the visit. He acknowledged that Bingham University holds a special place in his heart, noting that it was the first institution to visit him at his new office. He commended the University management for its Proactive approach, recalling its history of setting standards, such as being the first Christian university in Northern Nigeria and achieving feats like organizing its recent Convocation Ceremony successfully which was executed under two hours. Prof. Andrew acknowledged the weight of his new responsibilities but shared that he is encouraged by the support he has been receiving. He commended Bingham University’s leadership team and urged its principal officers to maintain unity and teamwork with the Vice-Chancellor in order to achieve greater success. Reflecting on the visit, Prof. Haruna described it as a humbling and refreshing experience that made him feel valued and appreciated. He urged Bingham University to continue supporting him through prayers, emphasizing their importance in his success. The highlight of the visit was the presentation of a congratulatory banner and souvenirs by the Vice -Chancellor Prof. Haruna kuje Ayuba. In attendance were; Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Musa Dankyau, the Registrar Mr. Daburi Bello Misal, the Bursar Mr. Paul Yaki Yusuf, the University Librarian Dr. Joshua Magoi, and the Ag. Director, Public Affairs Ms Monica Ankeli.
