Vice Chancellor ,Prof Haruna Kuje Ayuba Visits Chief Of Kagoro

The Vice-chancellor , Prof Haruna Kuje Ayuba in  Company of  principal Officers of the University, paid a courtesy visit to the palace of the Chief of Kagoro, His Highness, (Dr) Ufuwai Bonet as part of his familiarization tour to key stakeholders.

In his remarks, Prof. Ayuba said he was honoured to be in Kagoro ,stating that  Kagoro is historical to him because his father had  schooled and also served as an ECWA pastor in the  town.He added that, his visit to the palace was to pay homage to the royal father and thank him for his fatherly role and  his continued support to  Bingham University .  He informed the royal highness that he had visited all faculties and units of the university in Karu Campus and  was  in Kagoro to visit the Jennifer Etuh Foundation Specialist Hospital which is being operated and managed by  the university and the medical students Community Medicine rural posting out-post which were  all in his domain in continuation of his familiarization tour .
He went further to say the palace was the first place to be visited outside the university campus.
He added that the university is really grateful for the support accorded, by providing a conducive environment to operate the two facilities.

The Chief of Kagoro,HRH (Dr.) Ufuwai Bonet in his remarks, said Bingham University is "our child" hence he is happy providing the university with all the support required.
He added that the immediate past Vice-Chancellor, Prof. W.B Qurix, a son of Kagoro Chiefdom had done a good job and he is very happy to meet the new Vice-chancellor.
He  wished the Vice-Chancellor success in his tenure and pledged his continued support to the University.

He  added that ECWA and Bingham University had been a blessing to the community hence the continued support of the palace,he prays that the relationship will continue to boom.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Ayuba presented a souvenir to the Chief of Kagoro as a show of appreciation.
