Vice-Chancellor Visits Css Group Of Companies, Seeks Partnership For Mutual Benefits.

Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba and  Principal Officers of Bingham University recently visited a world class conglomerate located in Gura, Abuja-Keffi Expressway, CSS Group last week to seek for partnership for mutual benefits .

 

 

 

The Vice-Chancellor stated that the purpose of the visit was to explore ways the two organizations can leverage on each other for mutual benefits. He stated that he was happy with the organization for the transformation that has occurred in the area within few years of it existence.

 

He stated that aside the university providing education to students, his administration is open to collaboration and partnerships with willing organizations and individuals in the area of infrastructural development, build operate and transfer (BOT) options, land cultivating, consultancy services,  entrepreneurship and leadership training, amongst other areas.

 

Speaking earlier, the Chairman of CSS Group Prof John Kennedy, intimated the team  that it was a high time people discover their purpose on earth and pursue it as there’s a lot one can do when one discovers himself.  

Responding to the Vice-Chancellor's remarks, Prof. John Kennedy stated that he was delighted to receive the Vice Chancellor  and his team. He pointed out that CSS Group came into existence after he  conceived the idea and in consultation with a wider network of people.  He stated that there are opportunities in Nigeria to be harnessed and to be leveraged on to foster development in the country. He called on Nigerians to take responsibility of their lives and work for national development. 

 

He stated that CSS Group is into agriculture, energy, real estate, ICT, construction and aviation. He stated that excellence is their culture, creativity their brand and passion their drive and these have helped the CSS Group.

 

The Chairman stated that he is willing to collaborate with the university to provide required services in order to add value to the university and to enhance living standard of people.  He stated that action steps should be taken to kick start the process.

 

After the deliberations, Bingham University team was taken round the facility by the Chairman CSS Group for sight seeing.
