Bingham University Acquires Fire Truck, Conducts Maiden Training And Fire Drill

The Management of Bingham University has acquired a 5000 litres capacity Fire fighting truck to handle fire emergencies on campus.

Speaking during the maiden fire drill and training session held by the Fire Fighting Unit of the University, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. W. B. Qurix, OFR stated that the fire-truck was acquired to fight any fire outbreak that may occur in the University.  He stated that officers must be alert and be prompt to respond  to any fire outbreak that may occur on campus. He further stated that officers must be professional in handling fire-fighting apparatus.   

The Officer in charge, Mr Nuhu Musa,while appreciating the management, assured the Vice Chancellor that his team will do all possible to ensure that the truck is put to proper use for the benefit of the university in fighting any fire emergency.
