Bingham University And Thomas More University Belgium Explore Opportunities For Collaboration

The Vice-Chancellor of Bingham University, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba, alongside members of the university's top management team, recently held a meeting with Mr. Gbenga Ogundipe,  representative of Thomas More University, to discuss potential areas of collaboration between the two institutions.  

 

During the meeting, Mr. Ogundipe highlighted various benefits that a partnership between the two universities could bring. Key areas of collaboration discussed included: joint postgraduate courses in African Business  , Student and staff exchange programs, Joint research opportunities, Internships, renewable climate/Recycling, Curriculum review and development opportunities etc. 

 

Mr. Ogundipe emphasized that the collaboration would enhance Bingham University's global profile and foster meaningful academic and cultural exchanges.  

 

In his remarks, the Vice –Chancellor Prof. Ayuba expressed enthusiasm for the proposed partnership, noting that Bingham University's rapid growth necessitates such strategic collaborations. He affirmed the university's commitment to fostering academic excellence and innovation through global partnerships.    

 

Following the meeting, both parties visited the art gallery in CAVIC Hub in Wuse, where Bingham University students showcased their talents in a Cultural Tech Exhibition. This unique exhibition integrated technology into art and culture, portraying the rich heritage of the Nok Culture in a contemporary context.  

 

The discussions and exhibition underscored the potential for a fruitful partnership between Bingham University, Thomas Moore University and CAVIC Hub. Setting the stage for impactful academic, cultural, and technological exchanges. 

 

 In attendance were, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Musa Dankyau, the Registrar Mr. Daburi Bello Misal, the Bursar Mr. Paul Yaki Yusuf, Ag. Director Public Affairs Ms Monica Ankeli and the Head of the department of Entrepreneurship studies Dr. Peter Aroge.
