Bingham University Board Of Trustees Inspects Projects, Commends Management For Quality And Timely Delivery

The Board of Trustees of Bingham University has commended the University Management for its commitment to quality infrastructural development and timely project delivery during its 49th Regular Meeting held on 16th December 2025. The commendation followed an inspection tour of completed and ongoing infrastructural projects spread across the University campus.

 

The inspection was undertaken to assess the progress, level of completion, and compliance of the projects with approved standards.

 

Projects inspected included the ongoing Architecture Laboratory Building, the  Kennedy Opara Innovative Showroom, the completed Faculty of Law Library, the completed Faculty of Education Building, the extension of the Chief Seth Oshatoba Male Hostel, and two newly constructed 109-room hostel buildings.

 

During the tour, the Director of Works, Physical Planning and Development who led the Board to various project sites, provided briefings on the scope and stages of completion of each project.

 

Speaking during the inspection, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and President of ECWA, Rev. Dr. Job Ayuba Bagat Mallam along members of the Board expressed satisfaction with the progress recorded, while emphasizing the quality, professionalism, and timeliness demonstrated in the execution of the projects.

 

Members of the Board while inspecting the hostel facilities,  interacted with 2 students namely, Frederick-Idehai Divine of the Department of Computer Science and Oyeyemi Joshua of the Department of Medicine and Surgery. The students expressed their appreciation for the visit and commended the Board and University Management for providing a conducive learning environment and comfortable hostel accommodation, while encouraging continued focus on student welfare.

 

Members of the inspection team included the Chairman of the Board, Rev. Dr. Job Ayuba Bagat Mallam; the Chairman of Council, Prof. Andrew Haruna; the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba; members of the Board; Principal Officers of the University; and the Director of Works, Physical Planning and Development.
